Throughout the year, we attend local and national events to spread the word about our courses and promote wellbeing for all. From cooking up vegetarian meals to delivering digital skills at your local JobCentre, we’re always on the road.
Please keep your eye out for us and have a chat with our friendly staff. We’ll usually be surrounded by some eye-catching banner stands, loads of flyers and freebie goodies that you can take away. We’ll try to let you know where we’re going to be next via our News & Features page or you can, of course, give us a call on 0151 922 5500.
As a member of staff, I love the opportunities I get to engage with the local community and tell them what we’re all about. It gets our message across in ways we couldn’t otherwise achieve.
Crosby in the Community
Taking our courses out into the community enables us to talk to people we might not otherwise get to meet. Our entire philosophy is about empowering people to achieve – and by going on the road we’re able to get that message to the widest possible community.
Sometimes we attend events geared around specific careers – such as jobsfairs for the Civil Service or NHS- but increasingly we’re delighted to play a part in events which simply celebrate community. It’s at these events where we can help out with cookery demonstrations, digital skills workshops or healthy living advice – whilst also letting people know about the huge range of training opportunities we can offer.
So please keep an eye out for us at a community event near you – it’s more than likely we’ll have some goodies you can take home with you!
